Julaften fylles kirkene til randen. I
Rossabø tas menighetssalen i bruk, og
utvider kirkesalens kapasitet med nærmere et par hundre ekstra sitteplasser.
Slik ble det plass for alle. Med korsang
ved Rossabø jentekor, flott preken og engasjerende gjennomføring
av sokneprest Finn Bårdsen og eminent orgelspill
av kirkens engelske organist Justin Vickory,
ble det en festgudstjeneste vi fikk være med på. Og så
var det hjem til middag og gaver i familiens lune hi.

Christmas eve is the day we fill the churches.
Alle Haugesund churches have 2 services this day to make
space for everyone. In Rossabø church they even expand the church
room by opening the doors to the neighbouring meeting
room. We had the girls choir singing, an
exellent sermon delievered by the vicar Finn Bårdsen,
and eminent organ performance by the english
organist in Rossabø, Justin M. Vicory, and lot of well known christmas
carols, all of us present had a good time. And afterwards - we went home
share the evening with our families, with christmas eve dinner and presents.
