Selv om det ennå er lenge til jul,
er handelstanden for lengst i full gang med julehandelen. Allerede for
en måned siden var pakkediskene på kjøpesentrene utrustet
med julepapir. Når jula varer helt til påske, blir det
jul halve året (på en måte!). Men - først i dag
- torsdag 30/11 klokken 18 tennes julegaten etterhvert som et fakkeltog
passerer gjennom Haraldsgaten til Rådhusplassen. Der tennes det store
juletreet til toner fra Frelsesarmeens korps. Still opp på Bytunet
og bli med! De deler ut fakler fra klokken 17.30
