Det høres litt flott ut å
si at "De gikk ned med flagget til topps". Men FKH vant 1-0 over Lillestrøm
i sin (foreløpig) siste kamp i eliteserien. Så nå er
toppdivisjonsepoken over for denne gang. Den varte helt fra i vår.
Da stadionåpnet FKH med treningskamp mot nettopp LFK, en kamp
vi også vant. Men så ble det smått med seirer.
Sesong endte med 5 vunne, 4 uavgjorte og 17 tapte kamper. Siden tapet
mot Tromsø sist helg hadde vi ikke engang en teoretisk mulighet
til å berge plassen. Men - i dag var det om å gjøre
å vinne kampen. Og det gjorde vi altså.

Our local top league soccer team did not
succeed to stay on top. Next year we're back in the 1. division. But the
last game of the year ended up with FKH as winners (FKH = Fotball Klubben
Haugesund). 2 more games won, and they would have stayed on top.

Det gamle alterpartiet monteres opp igjen.
Det ble fjernet i.f.m. opppussing i 1973. I tillegg gjøres omfattende
murarbeider, hvor innvending sementpuss blir erstattet med kalkslamming,
som skal fungere bedre ved fuktgjennomtrenging. The old altar
in the city church, Our Saviours church, is remounted, after having been
removed in 1973. The inside walls are repaired, hopefully more permanent
than the last time. The problem is moisture.
