I skrivende stund er dette bildet en god
illustrasjon på hva vi opplever på utsiden av våre tørre,
lyse og lune kontorer. Ufyselig høstvær. Men uken startet
faktisk med glimt av den fineste oktobersommer. Nå rapporteres det
om rekordvarme, temperaturen over hele landet er faktisk 5 grader over
normalen. Urovekkende, synes noen av oss. Ikke noe annet enn en "stabil
situasjon" med lavtrykk over Island og høytrykk over Russland, sier
metereologene. Ikke noe å bekymre seg om, altså!

3 days in October
As we write this, the picture above is
illustrating what we observe outside our warm, dry offices here on the
shores of Smedasundet. We have a digusting autumn weather at the moment.
But monday, we had october summer. Today they talked about new temperature
records. Never before this high temps have been measured. All over the
country we have 5 degrees Celcius above the normal level. No problem, says
the weather people! No reason for worries.
