Kvalsvik ligger like
nord for Gardsvik, og er vel egentlig mest kjent som friluftsområde
og badeplass. Kvalen er en naturlig molo, et nes som er med å beskytte
viken mot havets herjinger. For her virker naturkreftene*

Nå er det
stille i Kvalsvik. Men snart er det sommer
(arkiv Aug 99) igjen, slik som månedene flyr nå for tiden.

Kvalsvik is situated just north of Gardsvik
and the Haraldshaugen area, and is mainly known as a summertime outdoor
bathing and recreation area. Kvalen is a natural breakwater, protecting
the bay towards the power of the ocean. This is a
rough place* to be in bad weather*. (*Archive

It's quiet in Kvalsvik at the moment. But
the months pass quickly these days, and soon we will experience another
summer (archive Aug 99) on this scenic place.
