Tripp, Trapp Tresko
Av og til ser jeg ting som gjør at kamera blir dratt frem, lynraskt. Var på Garpeskjærskaien når to sjarker komme seilende sørfra med nøyaktig like stor fart. I det de passerte, så jeg årsaken. Den største fiskebåten hadde "livbåt" på slep, i form av en mindre sjark, og den i sin tur hadde en robåt i bakhånd. Godt å ha livbåt i disse selvproduserte ruskeværstider.
Men - det var nok mer av praktiske årsaker de gjør det slik. Jeg knipset selvsagt noen bilder i gode, haugesundske omgivelser.
 3x safety device, or just a practical solution?
IT happens that I see things that makes me pull the camera quickly out of its bag - and shoot. I was on the Garpeskjær, international quay, or Nykaien (the new quay), as some oldies still say, when I noticed two fishing boats, one a bit smaller than the other, that seemed to compete to get first to the goal. When they passed us, I saw why it seemed that way. The biggest one had the smaller one in a rope, and that one had a small rowing boat in its rope. Good to have life boats - in these extreme weather days we have created.
I guess they had practical, economical or crew based reasons for sailing 3 boats this way, but I took some shots with well known parts of Haugesund as backgrounds.
