Vi samles til jubileumsfest i Torgbakken
For en uke siden ble en stor scene bygget opp på en lekter i Smedasundet, like nedenfor Torgbakken. Nå er det full rulle der i bakken. Torsdag var det Morten Abel-konsert. Fredag Talentfinale og konsert med Bobbysocks. Og lørdag - og da ble det virkelig fullt - var det byens eget toppgruppe VAMP som inviterte til årets eneste konsert. Den holdt de på hjemmebane.
Neste helg er det selveste Beach boys fra Amerika som skal underholde i Torbakken i verdens navle: Haugesund. Løp og kjøp billetter - der er plass til mange i Haugesunds største "konsertsal".

A week ago a large stage was built on a barge in the strait Smedasund, just below the Torgbakken (market hill). This weekend we have had many jubilee conserts here - in the largest "consert hall" of Haugesund, with norwegian celebrities like Morten Abel, Bobbysocks (winner of the European song Contest back in the 80's) and the band VAMP (Norwegian top rated group - from Haugesund).
Next weekend, the Beach Boys from the United states of America are giving a consert here - in Torgbakken in Haugesund. Haugesund is where it happens these days.
