| Vi var lovet fint vær,
og det ble det virkelig, om enn litt etterhvert. Denne 17. mai'en går
nok inn i historien som en av de fineste. En virkelig folkefest!

The weather forecast was: excellent. But,
during the morning procession and childrens prosessions, clouds made it
a bit unsafe to go out without an umbrella (none of us brought one). Later
on the splendid weather made this a very memorable day. It has been one
of the finest May 17. in years.
Through the 1999, 2000 and 2001 presentations
you may have seen similar presentations. But - this year I was there from
the very beginning og the official program starting at 06.10AM at the British
Commonwealth war graveyard:

minister in the Norwegian government (oil and energy-department), placed
a wreath on the memorial monument in the British Commonwealth war graves
seat.
